Though I have only listened to the In Rainbows album two times, I feel that the tracks just keep on growing on me. On first listen there were no real ’stand out’ tracks if i’m honest, but I was really really impressed with the album. Now I have listened to the album twice, and I am even more impressed. At the moment my favourite track has to be ‘All I Need’.

I think Radiohead fans will be very pleased with the In Rainbows album. I noticed that Thom Yorke mentioned the album is very basic, and quite scary at times. I don’t think he is far wrong with his description, some tracks are quite simple but still sound incredible.

Radiohead haven’t gone back to their previous times of heavy guitar play, though it does sound like they are continuing to experiment with all sorts of sounds and devices. If I had to liken this album with another Radiohead album, I would probably have to say Amnesiac - though I think overall In Rainbows is a far more emotional album.

My only negative feeling towards the In Rainbows album is the length - at nearly 43 minutes long, it seems a shame that perhaps the album is a little short in it’s duration. To be honest though I feel the contents of the album far make up for the shorter album length, and I would much rather listen to Radiohead at their brilliant best, then listen to some average filler tracks used to prolong the duration of the album (not that Radiohead could ever produce an average track).
